You may learn how we cook bread and Focaccia in Italy, using the ancient wood-burning oven and enjoy home-made pasta together with our agricultural products extra-virgin olive oil, biologic red wine or sheep cheese. You are welcome to participate to the seasonal farming activities such as olive picking or grape harvest. Just seeking for relax? Do so in the shadow of a secular oak with a breathtaking view on Volterra. Or spend your time exploring medieval towns and the nearby cities of art, namely Siena, Florence and San Gimignano, just to mention a few of them. Or else, after a day spent at the white sand beach of the "Etruscan coast" between Cecina and Piombino, join one of the many colourful festivals in the villages around us (see things to do).

Riders and non-riders are welcome staying with us in our ancient farmhouse of
the 17th century. Be a guest at our Agriturismo Podere Palazzone in
independent self-catering apartments, furnished in traditional
Tuscan country-style. You may study the antique techniques of
cotto-vaults construction, as each room has a different one. All
apartments have direct access to the garden with the dining area
around the barbecue corner. This is the perfect place to delight in
the beauty of typical Tuscan landscape and get inspiration from the breathtaking
sunsets that immerge our countryside in a spectacular light. While
you look
over Volterra and the Terre di Siena you may watch the horses
strolling around on the pasture. The riding arena is just behind
you. You may also
